Dr. Gilligan received her B.A., with high honors, in Biological Sciences from Mount Holyoke College in 1990. She received her Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in 1996. She graduated as Salutatorian of her class and was awarded the VSP Scholarship for excellence in primary care. While a student, Dr. Gilligan participated in VOSH, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. Dr. Gilligan has been practicing optometry for over 20 years, both in Manchester and Nashua New Hampshire. Her clinical areas of interest include primary eye care, treatment and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, and contact lenses. She is a member of the American and New Hampshire Optometric Associations. Dr. Gilligan lives with her husband and two children in Bedford, NH. She enjoys traveling and outdoor activities with her family.

Dr. Tyszko received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire in May of 1989. He received his Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in May of 1993. He completed a Postgraduate Optometry Residency Program in Ocular Disease at the New England College of Optometry in 1994. From July 1994 to May 1999, he was the Chief of Optometry at the Tucson Area Indian Health Service. Dr. Tyszko then served as a Clinical Instructor at the University Of Arizona College Of Medicine from April 1998 to September of 2001 before returning to New Hampshire to private practice. From 2004 to 2006 he was mobilized for Operation Enduring Freedom and served at Ft. Benning, GA. While serving at Ft. Benning’s Martin Army Community Hospital he was the Executive Officer of the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic as well as Director of Optometric Clinical Education. He is a Colonel in the New Hampshire Army National Guard and is currently the Commander of the NH Army National Guard’s Medical Detachment. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Joint Pharmaceutical Formulary and Credentialing Committee for the State of New Hampshire. Dr. Tyszko has published numerous scholarly articles in the following journals: International Congress of Eye Research, Investigative Ophthalmology, Optometry and Vision Science, Journal of the American Optometric Association, The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, Optical Society of America, and the Southern Journal of Optometry. Dr. Tyszko has extensive experience treating glaucoma, refractive errors, strabismus, amblyopia and diabetic retinopathy. He has a particular interest in novel approaches to treating dry eye. Dr. Tyszko lives with his wife, daughter, their dog and cats in Amherst, New Hampshire and enjoys exercise and competitive cycling.

Scott Thielen ABO-AC: Has worked in the optical industry for over 30 years in multiple capacities. He spent time as a territory sales manager for a major frame manufacturer, lens surfacing technician, practice administrator, optician educator, but his true passion is that of an optician. He enjoys making an impact on patients’ lives by creating eyewear that enhances their vision with style and comfort. His hobbies include cornhole, poker, hiking and spending time with family.

Robin is patient care oriented and is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision. When she is not working, Robin enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and being with her family
